Malaga’s most famous street, Calle Larios, transforms into a glowing cathedral of light every Christmas. This year, towering celestial angels stretch across the boulevard, shimmering in gold, white, and crystal, while sequins catch the sparkle of the city’s festive spirit. As the lights pulse to classics like Carol of the Bells and Jingle Bells, the whole street feels alive—part celebration, part open-air concert.
The lighting ceremony at the end of November is a must-see, drawing both locals and travelers into the city’s historic center. And 2025 brings a new highlight: a breathtaking drone show above Malaga’s port, starting 3rd December. From Plaza de la Marina, Muelle Uno, or even the Gibralfaro viewpoint, you’ll watch the night sky fill with glowing Christmas images, as technology and tradition blend in one unforgettable spectacle.
