Parque de Huelin, Málaga

Address: Carretera de Cádiz, 29002 Málaga, Spain

Parque de Huelin is proof that Málaga knows how to do urban renewal right. Once a polluted industrial zone, this green haven near the beach now covers 32,000 m² of carefully landscaped gardens, lakes, and winding paths—complete with its own lighthouse centerpiece. It’s where gritty past meets laid-back coastal cool.

Located in the Huelin district, just west of the historic center, the park is ideal for a morning stroll, a casual picnic, or letting your dog run wild in its dedicated area. Over 700 species of trees bring real biodiversity to the city, and the mix of natural and industrial-inspired design makes it feel like a hidden urban gem with a story to tell.
