Cabalgata de Reyes Magos / Three Kings Parades in Andalucía 2026

Confirmed Date: Always January 5th

The Cabalgata de Reyes Magos is one of Andalucía’s most cherished and vibrant traditions, celebrated annually on the evening of January 5th. This festive event marks the arrival of the Three Wise Men—Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar—who parade through towns and cities, delighting crowds by tossing sweets and small gifts to eagerly awaiting children and families.

While nearly every locality hosts its own parade, certain cities are especially famous for their grand celebrations:

  • Seville dazzles with elaborate floats and massive crowds;
  • Málaga fills its boulevards with music and tonnes of candy;
  • Granada stages a magical route past its historic skyline;
  • Cádiz adds a coastal twist to the tradition.

Some smaller towns stand out too—Guillena stages a living nativity with full biblical scenes, while Villanueva del Ariscal is known for handing out toys and local treats.

Wherever you are, it’s one of the most joyful nights of the year in Andalucía.
