Parque del Oeste isn’t your typical city green space—it’s part sculpture garden, part urban oasis, and part secret zoo. Tucked just inland from the western beaches of Málaga, this 74,000 m² park is a sensory playground, complete with lakes, fountains, tropical plants, and a geyser that shoots water sky-high like it’s showing off.
What makes it stand out? Forty-five surreal sculptures by artist Stefan von Reiswitz turn every path into a mini art trail. Think mythological creatures and fantastical figures tucked among the palms and playgrounds. It’s also ultra-accessible, with space for jogging, football, or simply zoning out on a bench surrounded by peacocks and parrots. This is city park life—Málaga style.
