Parque de la Batería, Torremolinos

Address: C. Decano Antonio Seoane, s/n, 29620 Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain

Parque de la Batería, Torremolinos blends seaside views with serious city park vibes. Perched just above La Carihuela and steps from the Montemar Alto train stop, this 74,000 m² green space is a chill alternative to the beach, with walking paths, bike trails, and a 9,000 m² lake where you can rent a rowboat like you’re in your coastal rom-com era.

But it’s not just pretty—it’s got history. The park sits on the site of an old coastal defense battery, and you can still spot original cannons and bunkers tucked among the trees. Add in a 15-meter observation tower, workout zones, a huge playground, and weekend events, and you’ve got Torremolinos’ version of Central Park—minus the squirrels, plus Mediterranean sun.
