Isla Mágica Sevilla / Magic Island Seville

Address: Pabellón de España, s/n, 41092 Sevilla

Built on the site of Seville’s Expo ’92, Isla Mágica is a theme park like no other—mixing historic adventure with modern thrills. The park is divided into themed zones, each representing a world from the Age of Discovery: from the Amazon jungle to the Spanish Caribbean. Headline rides like Jaguar (Spain’s first inverted roller coaster) and Anaconda (a dramatic log flume) offer big-league excitement, but there’s plenty for younger kids too, including gentle rides, pirate ships, and hands-on exhibits. Live shows happen throughout the day, including stunt displays, puppet theatre, and cinematic 4D experiences.

The theming here is strong and surprisingly educational, especially for families looking to sneak in a bit of history with their roller coasters. The park has good food options and shaded seating areas, and it stays open into the evening during high season. Located just over the river from the city centre, it’s an easy taxi or bike ride from the Alameda and well worth planning a full day. Note: entry to Agua Mágica, the adjacent water park, is a separate ticket. If you’re visiting in summer, consider combining both parks for a full experience.
