Arab Baths, Baños Árabes, Ronda

Address: Calle Molino de Alarcón, s/n, 29400 Ronda, Málaga

Hidden in Ronda’s old Jewish quarter, the Arab Baths (Baños Árabes) are one of the best-preserved in all of Spain—and they feel like something out of a Game of Thrones set. Built in the 13th century and later buried by river floods, these thermal baths have been excavated and restored to reveal their full architectural glory.

Walk through ancient steam chambers, marvel at the star-shaped skylights in the barrel-vaulted ceilings, and imagine the ritual of bathing in hot, warm, and cold rooms—just like locals did 700 years ago. There’s even a short video to help you picture the space as it was during Al-Andalus. It’s a quiet, atmospheric spot that connects you straight to Andalusia’s Moorish past.
