Fiesta del Mosto, held on the last Saturday of November in Atajate, is a celebration of the region’s winemaking revival and rich traditions. Villagers and visitors gather for a lively verbena (street party), where migas (breadcrumbs) are served alongside the unique, locally-made must, creating a perfect blend of tradition and flavor.
With its stunning panoramic views, Atajate’s festival attracts hundreds of people each year, eager to experience its distinctive gastronomy and community spirit. Declared of Tourist Interest by the Provincial Council of Málaga, the Fiesta del Mosto is a beloved event that brings together locals and visitors in celebration, making it one of the region’s most anticipated autumn festivals.
