Confirmed Date: 17-19th January 2026 (held on the weekend closest to 17 January)

Every January, the little village of Canillas de Albaida throws one of its biggest celebrations—the Fiesta de San Antón, dedicated to the patron saint of animals. This festival has been around for centuries, bringing locals and visitors together for a mix of tradition, fun, and good food. The highlight? A procession through the streets, where people bring their pets and farm animals to be blessed for health and protection. As the sun sets, the village lights up with bonfires, live music, and a big feast, turning the night into one big party.
One of the best parts of the festival is the free migas, a simple but delicious dish made with fried breadcrumbs, garlic, and chorizo, served to everyone. There’s also flamenco, fireworks, and a whole lot of dancing—so expect to stay up late! Whether you come for the food, the music, or just to soak in the atmosphere, this is one of those festivals that makes you feel like part of the community.
