Fiesta de la Naranja de Coín / Coín Orange Festival 2026

Date for 2026 TBA (Date for 2025 was May 4th)

Every May, as the final oranges are picked from the groves, the town of Coín in Málaga bursts into celebration with its beloved Fiesta de la Naranja. Held in the heart of the Guadalhorce Valley—often called the Orange Blossom Valley—this event pays tribute to the citrus fruit that defines the local identity. The festival began over 25 years ago and now draws thousands of visitors, earning its spot as a Provincial Festival of Tourist Uniqueness.

The day is packed with music, dancing, and orange-themed everything—juices, jams, desserts, and the iconic sopa hervía, a rustic tomato and pepper soup handed out free to all. Local artisans and farmers showcase their produce and crafts, while the town awards its Honorary Orange Prize to someone who’s helped share Coín’s story with the world. Surrounded by citrus groves, mountain views, and warm-hearted locals, this festival isn’t just a party—it’s a slice of Andalusian life you won’t forget.
