Address: Pl. del Reloj, 2, 29680 Estepona, Málaga

The Torre del Reloj (Clock Tower) is one of those landmarks that feels effortlessly iconic—simple in form but packed with story. What started in the 16th century as part of the original Church of Los Remedios has outlived the building it once anchored, thanks to a 1755 earthquake that brought everything else down. All that remains is the freestanding square tower—and somehow, that makes it even more compelling.
In the early 1900s, a clock was added to the neoclassical bell tower, complete with chimes that still echo through Estepona’s old town today. While you can’t go inside, it’s worth stopping by the plaza to take in this centuries-old timekeeper. It’s a quiet piece of local history—and one of the oldest surviving structures in town.
